So when I heard Nicki Minaj was collaborating with OPI to release her own collection I was very excited because I knew I would love it and boy was I right :)
Originally they hadn't set a date for the collection but just said it would be released January 2012. So as any nail polish lover would, I started looking around the salons the first week of January but no luck....they were no where to be found.
I thought to myself next week it will be out, so I went back to my salon the next week and asked when they would be getting them in, they told me "they'll be in at the end of next week.... I was a little disappointed that I wasn't walking out with those beautiful colours but was fine with it you know?
2 days later, My mum was in Fairview (our local shopping mall) and she just happened to ask them if they had them in stock....next thing I know she's calling me saying "They have them, they have them"! Obviously I was very happy :) they only got 2 sets of each colour in so my mum being the lucky star that she is managed to get me the last ones :o Good job mum :)
So I got 4 of the 6 colours, I snatched up Fly, Save Me, Metallic 4 Life and Pink Friday, they are all beautiful, I'm going to do a separate review post on the collection soon.
I just wanted to show you a NOTD featuring my newly beloved Fly :)
Fly is the colour on my nails with Save Me as an accent nail. I love these together and think they look so pretty.

Excuse Moi.......
Yes that's what I'm wearing on my nails right now, it's an OPI polish from the muppets collection which recently got released. Excuse Moi is a gorgeous warm pink with glitter. The glitter is medium sized and rainbow coloured. It's very opaque, you could get away with wearing 1 coat easily but I always prefer 2 coats. It's a lovely polish that can glam up any outfit, I felt very christmasy wearing it this week as all the shops have their christmas songs on and christmas decorations up.
It's a very unique colour and I recommend you at least look at it in a salon. It's by far my favourite glitter polish by OPI, normally I find glitter polishes very sheer, in order to have a nice even coat you really have to layer it on but surprisingly enough with Excuse Moi it speaks for itself :)
The first picture is with 1 coat and the second picture is with 2 coats.
Do you own this polish? Do you like it? and what's your favourite glitter nail varnish?

OOTD~ A Cozy Saturday
Hey Lovelies
I hope you're all doing well? I thought I would show you my outfit for today. It's starting to get windier here and the temperatures are SLOWLY dropping, it's now around 6-8 degrees. Winter is coming and I'm not really looking forward to massive amounts of snow for 6 months (although I am partial to snow at christmas) :) I can't believe it's only 5 ish weeks away.......EEEEeeeeeeeekkkkkkkk
Anyways enough of my ramblings.....onto my outfit :)
White Bf Tank: American Eagle
Blue Bf Tank: American Eagle
Chunky Knit Cardigan: American Eagle
Black Jeggings: American Eagle
Belt:A little market in Greece
Bracelet: A gift from a friend
Wow I've only just realized my whole outfit is from American Eagle haha...thats what you get for working there! I'm absolutely in love with this cardigan, it's big, it's chunky and it's so warm. I love the patterns and the different colours used. It looks amazing on it's own and cinched around the waist with a belt. For me it's a must have for winter

NOTD..... It's a maroon/plum kind of day!
Hey Lovelies
So I know I've been out of the blogging world for a while, I've been pretty busy working my 2 jobs.
Anyways I wanted to show you this beautiful nail colour. It's the perfect shade between maroon and plum and also the perfect transition colour to wear from autumn to winter. It's by Essie and it's called In Stitches (I received this in my luxe box)
What's your favourite Essie nail colour?

Want beauty samples????
So I received my July Luxebox *hooray*
They give you a small leaflet to tell you what is in the box and some information about the actual product which is always a nice touch and handy to know right?
It came nicely packaged, it's a really nice touch and shows that they care for the customers :) It definitely put a smile on my face to see it packaged so perfectly and creatively.
They try to customise your box to suit your skin type and needs. I'm not saying that everyone will get something different I just mean you may get a different shade to someone else depending on what you like.
A full sized Essie Polish in 'In Stitches' :)
Lets face it we all know it's annoying when you buy a full sized product and you end up hating it or it doesn't work for you for one reason or another. This monthly subscription allows you to try out different products without having that problem.
"Luxe Box is a new and exciting subscription service that delivers beauty products to you to try in the comfort of your own home."
I'm sure you're all aware of Birchbox (US) and Glossybox (UK) well I came across some blogposts about a Canadian version called Luxebox by Loosebutton.
I was very intrigued by this as it's such a unique idea. It's a monthly subscription of beauty samples in which you receive make up, skincare and hair care. It's $12 a month plus taxes which I think is a pretty good price for the amount you receive.
They send you 3-5 deluxe samples each month, now they are not tiny samples like the ones you get in Sephora or other shops that are aimed for 1- 2 uses, these deluxe samples can last up to a few weeks.

It's very good value for money and I'm thoroughly impressed with my first luxebox (so much that I've upgraded to the quarterly subscription) and will be telling my friends and my blogger friends about this company.
I wish they did the same thing as birchbox where you get points each time you purchase a birchbox and things are cheaper to buy on their site as opposed to the actual brand sites or the company sites....but hey you can't have everything :)
This is a great company who really cares about presentation and what their customers think about the products :)

Has anyone tried Luxe box....what did you think? Let me know if you got something different to me :)
I hope this post was helpful and I strongly recommend this subscription..... *Good job Luxebox*
*This months Luxebox was purchased by yours truly and all opinions are obviously my own*

OOTN......We run this world!
I went out with my friends last weekend to celebrate my best friend going back to England :(
It's been so nice having her here, it definitely reminded me of the old times :)
So here is what I wore
Dress: Some Indian Boutique in London
Belt: New Look
Shoes: Aldo
The dress was a lovely bright blue colour, it was a chiffon material with big blue pearl beads around the neckline. It's flowy but tight at the same time because it's a bubble hemline, I love this dress it's one of my favourites because it's unique and dressy enough to wear to any occasion.
