I went out with my friends last weekend to celebrate my best friend going back to England :( 
It's been so nice having her here, it definitely reminded me of the old times :)

The dress was a lovely bright blue colour, it was a chiffon material with big blue pearl beads around the neckline. It's flowy but tight at the same time because it's a bubble hemline, I love this dress it's one of my favourites because it's unique and dressy enough to wear to any occasion.

Hey Girls :)


I hope you're all doing well, it's been a while. Now I'm not going to apologize for not doing blog posts lately because this is a hobby for me not a job. I guess I was stuck in a rut with blogging and had no motivation or inspration to write blog posts. I was thinking about it and I would rather do a really good detailed blog post than loads of small undetailed posts. 


I hope you guys understand and I'm sure you have felt the same way while blogging....lets face it everyone gets in a blogging rut sometimes and loses their mojo!

Wow I guess I'm not hating much this month

I'm So Proud to be British!

Today was the day that people have been talking about for months and months......


THE ROYAL WEDDING......... People have been speculating what Kate's dress would look like, 'how she would do her hair and make up'.


I personally think she looked stunning and very princess esque, her dress was very elegant and feminine and I think it suited her as well.

This was the dress she wore for the evening reception, both her wedding and evening dress were by the late Alexander Mcqueen and are equally stunning although I prefer the evening dress just because I love big flowy dresses. Her sister's dress was also by Alexander Mcqueen.....Go British designers :)






















I didn't catch the whole wedding as it was aired live at 4/5am in Canada but I watched the main highlights :) I kind of wish I went back home to Oxford or London because I think the atmosphere would be amazing there right now, everyone would be on a natural high.

I've got some new shoes on and suddenly everything is right!

Hey My Lovelies

So I unfortunately missed out on the Cynthia Vincent wedges last summer so when the Dolce Vita shoes hit target I decided it was my PERSONAL MISSION to purchase them! 

As we don't have a target in Canada and they don't ship to Canada either I was pretty stuck as I wasn't planning a trip across the border anytime soon. Luckily I have friends in the states who offered to ship it to their house and then my dad brought them over :)! My dad travels to the US a lot for work which is a bonus pour moi! 


So without further ado here are the shoesies :)!


These are the Dolce Vita wedges in black. I absolutely adore the look of these shoes, they are very classy yet edgy because of the black straps and the pattern. The wedge has gold strands/reflects on them which is interesting and makes it sparkle in the sunlight. These look perfect with jeggings/skinny jeans and dresses/skirts, I can't wait to wear them in summer.......C'mon hot weather :)!

These flats were a steal at $6.99 in the sale, they are by a brand called Xhilaration.....I love the colour and the pretty flower detail it's so cute. I can tell I'm going to get a lot of use out of these :)


I can't wait to wear them especially the wedges :)!

My Perfect Imperfections

Ok so we all know that the perfect imperfections tag was a huge hit on youtube and probably one of the most popular tags as well as the boyfriend tag! 


I wanted to jump on the bandwagon and put in my 2 cents but I don't make videos on youtube (should I?) so I thought I would do a blog post! :) I think this is a really good and interesting tag because it shows you that not everyone is perfect and everyone has these little imperfections  but no one else notices them. I think imperfections are unique and beautiful and it's what makes you....... well YOU! 


So 3 things I don't like about myself and 3 things I do, here goes......


I don't like 
I have a love hate relationship with my complexion in the sense that I was a blonde haired blue eyed baby so I'm naturally very fair......thank you mum and dad! Sometimes I love being pale/fair and sometimes it's annoying especially in the winter but I guess majority of people have that problem. Even though I'm pale at the moment in the summer I tan very easily which I'm grateful for!

My left eye and eyebrow are slightly lower than my right (it sounds weird) but it's something I've noticed. It doesn't bother me that much but I find that my right eye make up always looks better than my left. Weirdness!

I get told that I look young, I definitely have a babyface but it also depends on my hairstyle...let me explain, when i have my hair poker straight I look younger and when I curl my hair it makes me look older. 

I do like

♥My eyes, I love the colour and the shape of them! My mum has light blue eyes and my dad has dark blue eyes so mine are a mix of the two :)

♥My legs, again I like the shape of them. I have quite slim and long legs but they are toned because I was on the athletics and Netball team in school. Go team go!

♥My hair, I love that my hair is thick, manageable and versatile. Every hair dresser I've met says to me "Your hair is so lovely and thick" (Although it can be a pain at times and quite costly with hairspray) Haha!
