It's that time again my lovelies :)

♥ Jersey Shore ~ (Jersday)  Snooki is hilarious and I can't wait for next season in Italy! Haha

♥ American Eagle ~ Love their clothes and love my job.

♥ Perfect by Pink ~ I love it, the video has so much meaning to it, I like the message that the song brings. I'm a big fan of Pink I have been ever since she released "Get the party started" all those years ago.

♥ American Idol ~ there were some amazing voices in Hollywood week

♥ Sleep app ~ It's an app for the iphone which monitors your sleeping patterns and slowly wakes you up feeling refreshed and revitalized, surprisingly it works :) 

♥ My Macbook Air ~ Best christmas present ever.....Thanks Mum and Dad!

♥ Urban Decay 'Naked' Palette ~ It's lush, definitely the best palette I've purchased. It's a must have for neutral lovers like myself :)

♥ The Wanted & Mcfly ~ I've been listening to them on youtube, I'm kind of loving them right now (Cheesy I know!) Anyone else obsessed right now?

♥ Speaking to my English friends on Whatsapp

OUTS

♥ The Canadian weather ~ I'm so over the snow and the cold icy wind, I'm so ready for sun, pools, beaches and cocktails!

♥Missing my Uk friends :(

I'm currently enjoying listening to Mcfly, The Wanted, Tinie Tempah, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Jessie J, Usher!

At the moment I have 'Teach me how to dougie' stuck in my head by Cali Swag District and I have no idea why. 

Looking forward to Summer and not being so pasty! 

I'm also loving dailymail.co.uk to keep up with my british tabloids that we don't get here in North America (I miss Look & Heat mags so much)

My 2010!

Well as 2010 is officially over, I might as well take a look back into those 12 months. For the most part 2010 was a good year for me but it was also an emotional year, quite a few things happened that made me question my life and what I want for the future! Towards the end of the year, things were definitely looking up!


So here's the rundown........


January

• I was in college learning a French course as I now lived in Montreal.
• I discovered my love for Lush 
• I experienced my first white winter in Canada

February

• One of my old school friends died :(
• I did an international swap with the lovely Laura from UK (talluluhbella)

March

• I saw the fantastic Alicia Keys and loved it! :)

April

• I finished my french course....Oh la la

May

• My family and I went back home to England for a few weeks
• My Dad got awarded an MBE at Buckingham Palace
• I saw my favourite UK friends <3

June

• I got a job in a cute boutique (Sex In The City style)
• I missed my friends in UK like crazy and wanted to visit them asap.
• I realized I love pink lips

July

• I had an awesome summer with lots of sun, fun and good friends (montreal)

August

• Had to give up my boutique job due to change of staff :(
• I saw the amazing Rihanna and Ke$ha

September

• I started to doubt my decision in moving to Canada and wanted to go back to Uk

October

• I dressed up as Britney Spears for Halloween

November

• I had an interview with American Eagle and ended up landing a seasonal job.

December

• Someone dear to me died of lung cancer
• I had a wonderful christmas,with my parents, I was spoilt and got a Macbook Air. I also loved buying presents this year. 
• American Eagle offered me a permanent position
• I realized that I can be happy in Canada and should see how it goes :)

Goodbye 2010 and Happy New Year! I hope 2011 is a better year for everyone and remember the bad things that happen in life always make you stronger!

Well another year has passed by and we are now in 2011 and have another year to look forward to.

A Personal Touch :)

Hey My Lovelies


I hope you are all well and had a lovely christmas, hopefully you were all spoilt and spent it with loved ones :)! First off let me just say I'm a bad blogger, I haven't blogged in ages, I've been so busy with work and christmas shopping that my blog was definitely at the back of my mind......forgive me?


So on to the actual blog...... For christmas I decided to get a personalized gift for my mum, she loves jewellery so I decided to get her a necklace from www.mynamenecklace.com. I also got one for myself, so I snapped a few pics to show you the style, lettering and how it comes packaged.


This company has been getting a lot of 'airtime' on youtube recently, they are obviously sending them for people to review. I however did not get sent this and bought both necklaces with my own money (just to clarify that)!


So heres the pics

This is how it arrived at my door, I love the small chiffon bag 

I love the font they use for the lettering, it looks elegant and kind of victorian ish! (does that even make sense?)


I paid $29.95 for each one, I also managed to get 10% off and free shopping (I ordered it on the monday after black friday, i think it's called Internet Monday....I don't know haha! All I know is that I got a good deal.)


I really like these necklaces, they are good quality, look elegant and it adds a personal touch as a gift or even for yourself. They are based in America but they are manufactured and sent from Israel so the shipping took 18 days to get from Israel to Canada. They say it takes a maximum of 15 days shipping worldwide but I guess with the christmas back log it took a little bit longer, which was fine. I even tweeted them saying it took more than 15 days (as I was worried it wasn't going to get here in time for xmas) they tweeted back quickly and were pretty helpful!


Overall I enjoy this necklace and wear it everyday with pleasure knowing that I am wearing a bit of Miss Carrie Bradshaw esque on me. So if you want to be like Miss Carrie Bradshaw from SITC and wear your name for the world to see I would definitely recommend this company.

Britney Spears

So I was watching Glee about 6 weeks ago (yeah I'm classy haha) and they did a Britney Spears themed episode which I loved as I'm a hugeeeeeee Britney fan.....anyone else?
(well before her breakdown)! 

So for Halloween I went to a 'Pimps and Hoes' party and i thought OMG I could go as a Hoe'd up Britney Spears à la I'm a slave for you.....I was so excited, however finding that particular outfit was very tricky....you know the one I mean right? The green bra with the blue shorts and a snake haha! Yeah so that was a no go then I saw Stef's video on EleventhGorgeous, she did a 'Do Something' tutorial. BINGO well that's what I ended up going as.....thanks for the inspiration Stef! :-)
