I hope you are all well and had a lovely christmas, hopefully you were all spoilt and spent it with loved ones :)! First off let me just say I'm a bad blogger, I haven't blogged in ages, I've been so busy with work and christmas shopping that my blog was definitely at the back of my mind......forgive me?


So on to the actual blog...... For christmas I decided to get a personalized gift for my mum, she loves jewellery so I decided to get her a necklace from www.mynamenecklace.com. I also got one for myself, so I snapped a few pics to show you the style, lettering and how it comes packaged.


This company has been getting a lot of 'airtime' on youtube recently, they are obviously sending them for people to review. I however did not get sent this and bought both necklaces with my own money (just to clarify that)!


So heres the pics

This is how it arrived at my door, I love the small chiffon bag 

I love the font they use for the lettering, it looks elegant and kind of victorian ish! (does that even make sense?)


I paid $29.95 for each one, I also managed to get 10% off and free shopping (I ordered it on the monday after black friday, i think it's called Internet Monday....I don't know haha! All I know is that I got a good deal.)


I really like these necklaces, they are good quality, look elegant and it adds a personal touch as a gift or even for yourself. They are based in America but they are manufactured and sent from Israel so the shipping took 18 days to get from Israel to Canada. They say it takes a maximum of 15 days shipping worldwide but I guess with the christmas back log it took a little bit longer, which was fine. I even tweeted them saying it took more than 15 days (as I was worried it wasn't going to get here in time for xmas) they tweeted back quickly and were pretty helpful!


Overall I enjoy this necklace and wear it everyday with pleasure knowing that I am wearing a bit of Miss Carrie Bradshaw esque on me. So if you want to be like Miss Carrie Bradshaw from SITC and wear your name for the world to see I would definitely recommend this company.

Britney Spears

So I was watching Glee about 6 weeks ago (yeah I'm classy haha) and they did a Britney Spears themed episode which I loved as I'm a hugeeeeeee Britney fan.....anyone else?
(well before her breakdown)! 

So for Halloween I went to a 'Pimps and Hoes' party and i thought OMG I could go as a Hoe'd up Britney Spears à la I'm a slave for you.....I was so excited, however finding that particular outfit was very tricky....you know the one I mean right? The green bra with the blue shorts and a snake haha! Yeah so that was a no go then I saw Stef's video on EleventhGorgeous, she did a 'Do Something' tutorial. BINGO well that's what I ended up going as.....thanks for the inspiration Stef! :-)

I love her hair/music/style/clothing line....Everything! Her style reminds me of a chic festival look! It's relaxed and casual but stylish at the same time. I also love her make up....it's always so natural and flawless.

Ins and Outs!

It`s that time again ladies....

INS

• I love the fall/autumn season because of the fashions. Layering is a must for fall fashion

• Candles especially the cinammon scents (reminds me of christmas)

• One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl, I love these shows :-)

• The Only Way is Essex, this show is so bad it's good! I love how orange Mark is haha. It's kind of like Jersey Shore but with less partying!

•  X Factor....is it me or are some of the acts a little strange? Who's you favourite and who should just LEAVE? Haha!

• Dressing up as a Hoe'd up Britney Spears à la I`m a slave for you for a Pimps & Hoes party...it`s gonna be funny thats for sure!

OUTS

• The weather...it's getting colder

• I do love the christmas season but seeing christmas decorations in shops is way toooooo soon for me

• I'm gonna freeze on Halloween in my costume :-( No bueno

Would You Rather...... (Beauty Edition 2)

So the sisters from EleventhGorgeous came up with a second edition to their Would You Rather Tag!

I wasn't tagged but here goes anyway......


Would you rather walk around all day with you skirt tucked in your underwear or be seen wearing a really see through dress?

 Hmmm I guess a really see through dress because you'd know about it and you would only see the outline of your underwear..Do you know what I mean?

Would you rather go to a party and not realize until the end of the night that you have lipstick on your teeth or that your fake lashes are coming unglued?
 I don't really wear fake lashes but i'd go with that because when you talk to people the first thing I notice is their smile & teeth! I guess guys wouldn't really notice your lashes coming off unless they were outrageous (*cough* Chloe Mafia from Xfactor *cough*)


Would you rather forget to put mascara on one eye or forget blush on one side of your face?

 I guess both would be totally obvious but I think i'll go with blush because I think missing mascara on one eye would look odd as one eye would stand out.....lol! Hmmmm tough one.

Would you rather wear lipstick/lipliner combo or frosty blue eyeshadow?

Frosty blue Eyeshadow can't look that bad right?

Would you rather wear foundation that is two shades too light or go way overboard on bronzer?

 Both are horrible but I think you could get away with the foundation if it wasn't a dramatic difference....for example if it was a sheer foundation colour like the mac face & body foundation!

Would you rather drink an entire bottle of ketchup or run into the guy who broke your heart on a bad hair day when your skin is freaking out?


I think i'd be sick if I drank an entire bottle of ketchup....Eurghhhhh so I guess I'd rather bump into the guy when i look crazy, I'm assuming the guy has seen you when you wake up in the morning with no make up and crazy hair....How bad could you possibly look?...so no biggie i guess!

Would you rather be able to date any celeb you wanted or wake up with perfect red carpet-worthy hair?

Hmmmmmm date a celeb....Channing Tatum please haha!

Would you rather your armpits smell musky or like delicious lasagna?
What a WEIRD question, If I had to choose one, it would be lasagne....I think.



Would you rather give up your makeup or cell phone for one year?

As much as this pains me because I love all things beauty but I couldn't give up my phone :-(, it goes evrywhere with me haha

Would you rather run into a cute guy you like with food all in your grill or no makeup at all?
Jeeez.... I guess no make up because food all around your mouth would be highly embarassing. Let's hope it's a good skin day haha!
